Well, not sure if anyone is still checking this blog but I am now working as a teacher-on-call with the North Vancouver school district. I worked my first day last week at Carson Graham Secondary in grades 8 and 10 Socials. It was great and I am super excited to be back in the highschools! I cannot wait to get a day teaching at Sutherland so I can see all the students and staff again. I hope that everyone's classes are going well and I hope to see everyone soon.
I had a crazy but exciting summer. I finished my classes at UBC at the beginning of August and then was married August 16, the hottest day of the summer! We had an amazing day with all our friends and family. We had a very relaxing honeymoon in Bora Bora and now all we have left of the wedding is our pictures and the very funny video footage of the day. Life is returning to normal as we get back to work. I hope to get lots of work in North Van and eventually a full time position. Also, I hope to return to coaching the soccer girls this spring. See you around....

- I am a teacher-on-call with the North Vancouver School District. I worked as a student teacher last year at Sutherland and have since been subbing all over North Vancouver. I'm really enjoying it and cannot wait to get a permanent position. I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a major in History but I also took a variety of other courses including Spanish. My interests are travelling, learning other languages and cultures, and sports. My favourite travel spots so far are Italy and New York City. I play soccer for a Div 1 team in Burnaby and I will be coaching the Junior Girls Soccer team at Sutherland! I also love to snowboard, surf, and play tennis and squash.
