SS9 Current Events presentation schedule

Social Studies 9 students: you have been assigned to find a current event (newspaper article) and to prepare a short (4-5 minute) presentation on the article and the topic. Please make sure you have the Current Events worksheet to complete and hand in. Please find an issue that is somewhat relevant to social studies (geography, politics, history, social issues, etc). You will be evaluated on your completion of this sheet, your understanding of the article and topic, and your ability to answer questions. This is worth 10 marks. We will go over the assignment in class on Monday and presentations will start Tuesday. Here is the schedule of presentations. Please email me if you have a problem with your assigned date.
